Mithril Security is a deep tech startup at the forefront of cybersecurity and AI-driven automation. We specialize in data confidentiality and model protection, leveraging advanced secure enclaves (encryption-protected environments) to deploy AI algorithms with enhanced privacy and security for users.

In addition to our work in cybersecurity, we develop LaVague: AI Agents to automate routine, legacy tasks, enabling individuals and organizations to focus on what truly matters. We’re excited to launch the first version of LaVague, empowering a wide range of professionals—from Web Testing engineers who ensure websites function as intended, to automation specialists who manage complex web interactions and data collection.

This project is rapidly gaining traction and has become our primary business focus. With the upcoming launch of a managed platform for LaVague, we are significantly expanding the LaVague team to achieve our objectives, aiming to grow to a workforce of 50 within the next 12 months. Our team comprises highly skilled professionals, with 90% being AI experts, security engineers, and developers.

Job Description

We are a rapidly growing tech company, expected to increase workforce to 50 persons within the next 12 months. Our team consists of highly skilled users, with 90% being AI experts, security engineers, and developers, which reduces the need for basic IT support but increases the need for sophisticated IT infrastructure and security management. The IT Manager will be a crucial part of our operations, working closely with our in-house security team to design security procedures, which the IT Manager will then be responsible for implementing and maintaining across the organization.

IT Asset and Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee the management of workstations (50-100 PCs) and phones (25-50 devices via MDM). This includes installation, configuration, and hardware/software updates to ensure smooth operation.

  • Inventory management: Track hardware stock, anticipate future needs, and plan for growth as the company scales.

  • Automate repetitive IT tasks (e.g., PC deployment, maintenance) through process automation and scripting.

Security and Backup Management

  • Collaborate with the in-house security team to implement designed security procedures. This includes managing security updates, patch management, and performing regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities.

  • Handle access management and ensure proper permissions through secure authentication systems.

  • Backup management: Maintain data security through regular, tested backups, ensuring recovery capabilities in case of incidents.

Cloud Resource and Cost Management

  • Manage cloud services (AWS, Scaleway, Azure and GCP) by monitoring consumption, optimizing costs, and generating expense reports based on usage by teams and projects.

  • Identify areas to optimize cloud usage, proposing cost-saving measures tailored to the needs of the AI teams.

  • License management: Monitor and manage software licenses for tools used across the company.

Internal User Support and Training

  • Provide technical support, including troubleshooting, remote diagnostics, and quick response to hardware or software failures

Preferred Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years as an IT Manager or Systems administrator, ideally in a fast-growing environment.

  • Technical skills: expertise in IT asset management, network administration, IT security management, and cloud infrastructure monitoring (AWS or Scaleway).

  • Cloud expertise: experience in optimizing cloud spending and managing cloud resources for technical teams.

  • Strong autonomy and proactivity: ability to anticipate future needs and propose improvements.
